About the author
Katie Hopper writes stories splashed to life with the crayons of her son and daughter. A family, living in a coastal town in Northern England, creating little books for big feelings. As families do, they occasionally find themselves lost in the pursuit of clarity whilst navigating some of life's bumpy roads. Their compass lies in writing and illustrating stories together in an attempt to make sense of big feelings that surface along the way that can sometimes result in stumbles. Once carefully stitched together, they turn their creations into real-life books, in the hope they might help to guide others navigating similar bumpy roads, feeling similar big feelings.
They have created five books to date, which address the following topics: grief, empathy, self-worth, anxiety, and intuition.
• The Lady Who Came From The Sun
• The Boy With The Heart-Shaped Balloon
• The Girl Who Found Her Glow
• The Trees Within Us All
• Sylvia's Candle
