A pioneering new women's history group centred around telling the stories of the unique lives of Grimsby women through the ages is opening its doors for a special Heritage Open Day event, sharing some of the poignant photographs and stories they have collected so far. And you are invited to share your own stories, too! 

Do you have memories or written records of an incredible mother, grandmother or female ancestor whose story deserves to be told? Drop in for a cuppa and meet like-minded people who want to uncover, document and celebrate the forgotten stories of Grimsby’s ordinary, yet extraordinary women. 

With views to sea, comfy sofas and a plentiful supply of tea and cake, La Cuna in Cleethorpes offers the perfect backdrop to share stories and go back in time, delving into a fascinating, vital and often overlooked part of our local history.
