Paul Sutherland (a veteran multi-published writer) and Steve Miller (a slam poet master) present their longer pieces of poetry on the theme of War and faith at the La Cuna Cafe in Cleethorpes on Friday, July 3rd.

ABOUT THE POETS

Paul Sutherland was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1947, and arrived in the UK in 1973. He has published eight collections of his poetry since 1970, and has an MA in English Literature from the University of York, and became both a Sufi Muslim and a freelance writer in 2004.

Steve Miller was born in Cleethorpes and has had an itinerant life, living in various countries. He has worked as a musician/ writer/ nurse/ offshore medic.

He has recently returned to live improvisation and poetry slam performance.
