Their Journey

Eloise applied to the Showcase as she needed help creating a website and a showreel to help drive bookings and better promote her circus-based businesses. Through the Showcase, Eloise received a free 1:1 session with a website specialist who helped her build the framework for her very own new website which she could then manage herself with the Showcase covering her first year of website fees.

We were excited to help Eloise bring to life her very first showreel with traditional cameras and drone lenses, shot on one of Eloise’s dream locations, Cleethorpes North Beach. Despite windy conditions, Eloise performed a repertoire of circus skills covering aerial, hoop, poi and jaw-dropping fire tricks to create a showstopping showreel which she’s now able to upload onto her dedicated website. Eloise was also able to be part of the editing process working alongside our documentary-maker and Editor, Dan Burks, to ensure she had vital creative input.

As part of the Showcase package, Eloise has received weekly support from Jessie who helps signpost her to networking events, courses and local funding opportunities, cheering her on from the sidelines.

‘One of the best things to have come from the Showcase is the creation of my showreel as it’s an integral part of my business to be able to share my skills to a wider audience,’ says Eloise. ‘Everybody on the team has been great, I have had a lot of support. It’s been lovely to connect with other artists when I usually work on my own. I am hoping to continue working towards providing circus workshops to help support the mental health of the local community for people of all ages.’
