Our partnership with the National Literacy Trust

Our partnership with the National Literacy Trust as the local hub for the Year of Reading includes appointing reading champions, establishing community bookshelves, hosting storytelling sessions and creating a digital map of reading opportunities across the region.

Led by Jessica Johnson, the project works with local partners to share the joy of reading and its many benefits with people of all ages in the local community.
